Chipton-Ross is seeking a Junior Business Systems Analyst for a contract opportunity in Carson, CA.
This position is 100% onsite.
There is potential to be hired full-time with the client.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Experience in data analysis with a solid understanding of business processes is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
Strong overall ERP knowledge.
Requires moderate skill sets and developing proficiency within discipline.
Conducts tasks and assignments as directed.
Works under moderate supervision with latitude for independent judgment.
Strong decision quality expected.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Data Analysis
o Interview business process owners and key users, analyze and document business processes and requirements and develop system proposals and functional specifications
o Translate diverse business requirements into common functional specifications
o Review requests for projects and changes and advice on approval based on, for example, feasibility, compliance with standards, business case, risk, priority.
o Support the implementation of ERP & other business systems, advice and support key users
o Prepare training material, provide training and support the creation of work instructions
o Support the preparation and execution of software testing
o Result expectations:
o Business applications reflect needs of the business.
o Proper specifications to support development by Safran IS or 3rd parties.
o Harmonization of business applications and business processes.

o Project Management
o Act as Business Project Manager during smaller projects or changes.
o Support the Safran IS and Business Project Manager.
o Involve internal functions and coordinate and verify work performed by external consultants.
o Ensure solutions adhere to corporate architecture standards and requirements.

o Projects and changes delivered on-time, within budget, at good quality and in accordance with business requirements and architectural standards.
o Relationship Management
o Act as point of contact for questions and information for system and reporting changes. Advice and support the business in the use of Reporting and Business Intelligence tools.
o Hold periodic meetings with BPOs to evaluate how systems could be improved to solve business problems
o Anticipate improvements in business processes or reporting

o Understanding of business needs before formal requests are made.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience & education required.
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 1st Shift 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
