Our client, a friendly and collaborative company of 15 employees, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support their growing team. You’ll work closely with the Controller and receive hands-on training while having the opportunity to evaluate and enhance current AP processes.

What You’ll be Doing…

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Verify and enter invoices, process check runs, and enter EFT transactions
• Classify transactions to the proper GL accounts
• Reconcile credit card accounts and maintain accurate vendor records
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintain vendor relations and ensure smooth AP operations

Here’s what your work history needs to show as evidence that you’re the right candidate…

• 1+ years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
• Sage experience required (Sage Contractor preferred)
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (comfortable with data manipulation & formulas)
• Strong data entry skills and 10-key by touch proficiency
• Exceptional time management & organizational skills
• Ability to identify process gaps and recommend improvements
• Comfortable handling complex invoices
• Construction industry experience is a plus!

 

Here’s the important details:

· Location : West Seattle (Free Parking & Rapid Ride Drop-Off Nearby)

· Pay Rate : $27 to $35 per hour

· Assignment Type : Temp-to-Hire Audition

· Schedule : Flexible Part-Time Hours Between 7 AM – 5 PM, Monday – Friday

· Compliance : You must be able to pass a criminal background check.
