Job Description

Liberty Healthcare Corporation is hiring for an Administrative Assistant position.

Full-time and part-time schedules will be considered.

In this role, you will provide administrative support to Liberty Healthcare’s specialized forensic mental health program which is located onsite at the West Valley Detention Center – a San Bernardino County jail in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. 

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Handling clerical duties

• Supporting licensed mental health clinicians and physicians

• Organizing and auditing client charts, files, and other health data

• Scheduling appointments

• Composing, typing, and editing various documents including letters, memoranda, forms and reports

• Maintaining strict adherence to patient confidentiality and HIPPA

• Supporting various projects

• Taking the initiative to find ways to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the program staff

As an Administrative Assistant with Liberty Healthcare, you can expect $20.00 to 24.00 per hour (depending on qualifications).

You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:

• Experience working in healthcare or human services setting

• Knowledge of mental health or general healthcare terminology

• Excellent time management, organization, computer planning/problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
