Get to Know Your Team:  

• Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center, housing the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.

• This position provides assistance to the anesthesia department in preparing anesthesia machines for use, stocking all areas that require anesthesia services, ordering supplies, and maintaining stocks.
• They are responsible for the rapid turnover of cases that require anesthesia services and are held to the Spaulding classification system for cleaning of machines, carts, and medical devices or equipment.
• Assists in trauma situations when needed and performs under the direction of the anesthesia provider and is subject to verification in accordance with state and federal law.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

• Basic computer knowledge.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One (1) year of previous medical experience.
