Job Description

Anesthesia Technician at Providence Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo, CA. This is a full-time position that will work 12-hour Day shifts.

Maintaining direct communication with the Charge Nurse, O.R. Manager and Educator, this position provides support services to the professional staff in the Department of Surgery. Under the supervision of the R.N., this position performs safe and efficient transfer of patients, assists in room turnovers, assists in case preparation gathers and sets up supplies and equipment. This position participates in department in-services and staff meetings and communicates in hand-off reports to the Charge Nurse and peers.

Required Qualifications:

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

• 2 years Operating room assistant, anesthesia technician, or central supply experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree

• Cell Saver experience.
