Job Description

Our client, a global player in design & manufacturing for the automotive sector, is seeking an Assembly - 2nd Shift Lead to join their team in Rochester Hills, MI.

(90-day contract to direct hire)

Responsibilities:

The Assembly - 2nd Shift Lead is responsible for supporting production to ensure that parts are made according to customer specifications and company quality standards:

• Assign and manage operators on shift
• Take accountability for shift production performance
• Set-up assembly machines
• Establish and enact necessary processes
• Monitor machine performance and quality
• Perform machine maintenance as needed
• Inspect parts (SPC checks, Process release, Product release)
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• High School diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment
• Automotive Sector, Production Facility experience
