MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OF RECENT MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY EXPERIENCE OR SIMILAR

Connect Staffing, Inc.  is seeking an experienced  Mechanical Assembler / Assembly Technician who is ready to work for a company that builds and modifies trailers for electrical generators in the city of Cypress, CA.

Schedule:  Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:45pm. No weekends.

Requirements For Assembler Technician:

• Minimum 6 months recent mechanical assembly experience or similar.
• Strong ability to use hand and power tools.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must have steel toe shoes or boots
• Prior experience in roles such as assembly technician, mechanical assembler, mechanical assembly tech, maintenance technician, furniture assembler, HVAC technician, or any assembly-related position using hand tools and power tools is a plus!

Responsibilities For Assembler Technician:

• Assemble trailers using basic hand tools and compressor tools.
• Work off basic blue prints and follow instruction in building trailers.
• Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.
• Follow basic instructions when adding modifications to trailers.
• Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).
• Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
