Full-Time Assembly Technician

TIG seeks a full-time, skilled, and motivated individual to join our Marshalltown, Iowa warehouse team as an Assembly Technician for light assembly, packaging, and kitting. If you are seeking a dynamic role with a variety of work, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! 

Job Summary

The Assembly Technician is responsible for technical light kitting, assembly work, and packaging of products in preparation for inventory and shipping. General warehouse operations support includes order fulfillment, palletizing products, part movement, and warehouse assistance. 

General Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Daily technical light kitting of products and parts for inventory and customer orders following standardized instructions. Strict attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to quality control processes.
  • Equipment operations for kit assembly and product movement, such as manual and powered tools, pallet jacks, and hoists.
  • Provide general warehouse support as needed, such as organizing products, and maintaining clean and safe work areas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in a warehouse or production environment preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
  • Experience and competence with computers, including Teams and Outlook.
  • Ability to use a pallet jack, hoists, and other basic warehouse equipment

  • Detailed oriented, organized, and able to problem solve.
  • Ability to work independently and team orientated, able to work with diverse individuals within and outside the TIG/Exodus Organizations.
