    • GLBA, CalFIPA, FCRA, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and state health privacy laws

  • Serve as a lead advisor on matters, independently manage client relationships, and contribute to team-wide project execution

  • Occasionally supervise paralegals or junior attorneys when appropriate

Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of data privacy counseling experience in a large law firm setting (boutique specialists may also be considered)

  • Specific experience with state privacy laws and privacy program implementation is required

  • Strong preference for experience advising on:

    • Adtech and online tracking technologies

    • Financial and health/life sciences sector compliance

  • Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage complex matters and meet tight deadlines under pressure

  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and deliver practical, business-minded advice

  • Must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of the office for which you are applying

  • Privacy certifications such as CIPP-US, CIPT, and CIPM are preferred but not required
