Job Description

Position: Azure Data Engineer

Location: San Antonio TX REMOTE (Need to go to office whenever required)

Duration: Long Term

Need expereince on Azure Stack (Azure Data Factory Azure Data Lake Azure Synapse) is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with business unit IT teams to discuss gather and document analytics solution requirements.
Partner with IT Infrastructure team architects to define acquire and deploy cloud services required for a given cloud analytics solution.
Partner with cloud service providers on cloud capabilities.
Design develop implement and support new and existing data & analytics solutions ingested from multiple source systems.
Daytoday management and support for analytics platforms to ensure availability and optimal performance.
Demonstrate interpersonal skills needed to function effectively as a member of the team.
Exhibit customer focus while interfacing with business partners.
Work on other reporting and business intelligence related tasks as necessary.

Required Skills:

8 years of experience as a Data Warehouse developer Data Engineer in developing analytics solutions.
Expert level understanding of Cloud Data Warehouse Architecture and Modeling
Expert level knowledge and handson experience working with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and various services applicable to analytics workloads
Working experience with BI Visualization tools such as PowerBI Tableau
Working knowledge of functional processes in the areas of Finance supply chain logistics. Oil & Gas experience in these areas is a plus
Hands on working experience with DevOps Agile Scrum methodologies as it relates to analytics solution development.
