Position: Azure Data Engineer

Location: San Antonio TX REMOTE (Need to go to office whenever required)

Duration: Long Term

Need expereince on Azure Stack (Azure Data Factory Azure Data Lake Azure Synapse) is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business unit IT teams to discuss gather and document analytics solution requirements.
• Partner with IT Infrastructure team architects to define acquire and deploy cloud services required for a given cloud analytics solution.
• Partner with cloud service providers on cloud capabilities.
• Design develop implement and support new and existing data & analytics solutions ingested from multiple source systems.
• Daytoday management and support for analytics platforms to ensure availability and optimal performance.
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills needed to function effectively as a member of the team.
• Exhibit customer focus while interfacing with business partners.
• Work on other reporting and business intelligence related tasks as necessary.

Required Skills:

• 8 years of experience as a Data Warehouse developer Data Engineer in developing analytics solutions.
• Expert level understanding of Cloud Data Warehouse Architecture and Modeling
• Expert level knowledge and handson experience working with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and various services applicable to analytics workloads
• Working experience with BI Visualization tools such as PowerBI Tableau
• Working knowledge of functional processes in the areas of Finance supply chain logistics. Oil & Gas experience in these areas is a plus
• Hands on working experience with DevOps Agile Scrum methodologies as it relates to analytics solution development.
