Newport Coffee House is a small team of individuals that share a passion for coffee roasting and baking. We have three locations, our Roastery in Glenview, our Bakery/Coffee Shop in Evanston, and our Coffee Shop in Bannockburn. Please see our website for more information.
Baker/Pastry Chef
Baked goods have always been an important part of what we offer. The coffee experience for our customers is greatly enhanced by the pastries we offer for them to pair with their drink. Our pastry line is developing and we are a small baking team looking to grow. For the right candidate, being part of our team is a great opportunity to learn, develop and bring creativity to our future offering. We have a passion for excellence and are constantly trying to improve. Our current offering includes croissants, scones, muffins, quiches, our own Swedish Knot, and more!
Being a small team also brings flexibility, in hours per week and also in night vs. day shifts. We see our team as a family where we try to work it out together.
