POSITION : Behavioral Specialist I or II
STATUS : Full-Time; 40 hours/week
SCHEDULE / HOURS : Flexible to meet the needs of the caseload (primarly daylight)
LOCATION : Wilkinsburg
SALARY : $45,000 - 52,000/year

Citizen Care Inc., a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., provides residential, day program, habilitation, supported employment opportunities and behavioral support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are a non-profit organization, accredited by the Council on Quality & Leadership. Citizen Care has locations throughout the West Hills and South Hills of Allegheny County.

Responsibilities:

The Behavioral Specialist I will be responsible for the overall development and implementation of the person supported behavioral plan. Provide supports and interventions which focus on positive behavioral strategies. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA)
Developing behavioral support plans that are individualized and comprehensive, which utilized positive strategies to support the participant and tracking the effectiveness of the behavior support plan
Monitoring and analyzing data and make changes when necessary based on data collection
Training of and consultation with person served, family, friends and providers
Collaborating with the person serviced treatment team, including participation in the person supported ISP meetings
Provide crisis intervention support and the development of individualized crisis plan

SALARY :

$45,000 - 52,000/year depending on experience and licensure

Qualifications:

Behavioral Specialist level 2 - Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Education, or related human service field
Behavioral Specialist Level 1 - Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related human service field
Licensed preferred (LSW, LCSW, LBS, LPC, Psychologist)
Two years’ experience supporting people with developmental disabilities
Two years’ experience in the mental health field
Excellent communication and computer skills
Valid driver’s license
Use of personal vehicle required
Act 34 and (if applicable) FBI Clearances

Minimum Compensation: USD $45,000.00/Yr. Maximum Compensation: USD $52,000.00/Yr.
