Job Description

LightFeather is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled BI Specialist/Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive PowerBI reports and dashboards under the expert guidance of our Data Science Lead. This role demands a keen eye for detail, creative problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to effectively communicating analytics insights to a diverse range of stakeholders.

This Position is Full Time, Remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Data Science Lead to understand data analysis needs and translate them into clear, impactful visualizations.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data presented in reports and dashboards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions that provide meaningful insights.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline reporting processes and methodologies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of BI standards, guidelines, and best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

  • US Citizenship.
  • Active clearance at the Public Trust level or higher. IRS clearance preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 9+ years experience in Business Intelligence, with a proven track record of developing comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards using PowerBI.
  • Strong understanding of BI principles, data modeling, and data visualization techniques.
  • Proficient in SQL and experience with other data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry and adhering to compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with additional BI tools and software is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
