Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Pittsburg, California for a Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. This role is integral to our operations as it involves comprehensive management of our financial data, including account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Analysis + Prepare and review financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements + Analyze financial trends and deliver actionable insights + Manage month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis + Calculate monthly commissions and bonuses + Maintain and update balance sheet account schedules + Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions + Develop and manage budgets + Monitor and manage cash flow Process Improvement + Identify opportunities for improving accounting processes + Implement changes to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance Financial Advisory Role + Provide strategic financial guidance to support overall company health + Help the company achieve financial goals through informed decision-making + Advise on investments and other financial decisions + Assist with tax preparation in coordination with CPA Requirements + Experience in bookkeeping or accounting + Skilled in month-end and year-end financial reporting + Confident serving as the highest-level accounting professional within the company + Will review work of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) staff without direct management responsibilities + Appreciates the opportunity to work close to home in Pittsburg + Values stability, work-life balance, and a supportive, tight-knit company culture Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
