**Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper**

We are excited to invite a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis! In this essential role, you will help manage our day-to-day accounting activities and ensure that our financial records are accurate and up-to-date. **Key Responsibilities:**

- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing, collections, payment processing, and maintaining accurate records.
- Review invoices and expense reports to ensure compliance with policies and accuracy.
- Record receivable payments in our CRM and accounting systems.
- Prepare and deliver bank deposits in a timely manner.
- Assist with bank account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
- Perform monthly financial reporting tasks and keep our digital filing systems organized.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the efficient processing of financial transactions.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all financial information.
- Take on additional duties as assigned to support the team.

**Qualifications:**

- Associate's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with Sage 50 Accounting software is preferred.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems.
- Previous experience in a Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and/or non-profit organization is a plus.
- Background in the travel/tourism, hospitality, or meetings industry is advantageous.

**Work Environment:**

This position is based in a professional office environment equipped with standard business tools. You may occasionally attend local events and venues. We offer a flexible hybrid work schedule, allowing for 2 days of remote work on Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday.

**Physical Demands:**

The role primarily involves computer work and general office duties, with occasional movement throughout the office and at external locations. Light lifting and carrying (up to 20 lbs) may be required.
