Building Maintenance Technician
The Sioux Falls Regional Airport is looking for a motivated, experienced individual to be a Building Maintenance Technician. This person will be primarily responsible for routine building maintenance tasks at our passenger terminal as well as Maintenance on our new car wash facility.
Duties Include:
- Operate and maintain airport systems that may include heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical and mechanical functions and/or operations including:
- Light electrical maintenance, light bulb replacement.
- Filter replace for heating and cooling equipment.
- Painting
- Vehicle and pedestrian door repair.
- Provide custodial assistance as needed including:
- Floor scrubbing
- Bathroom cleaning
- Exterior maintenance to include:
- Snow removal on sidewalks and around building
- Lawn and landscaping maintenance/mowing.
- Maintenance on Car Wash Facility
Requirements:
- High School diploma or General education degree (GED).
- A minimum 3-years experience in building maintenance position, electrical license and or experience desired.
- Experience operating skid steer and other light equipment.
- Experience on Car Wash Operations a plus.
- Must successfully pass a ten year criminal background check as well as a pre-employment drug test.
