Building Maintenance Technician

The Sioux Falls Regional Airport is looking for a motivated, experienced individual to be a Building Maintenance Technician. This person will be primarily responsible for routine building maintenance tasks at our passenger terminal as well as Maintenance on our new car wash facility.

Duties Include:

• Operate and maintain airport systems that may include heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical and mechanical functions and/or operations including:
• Light electrical maintenance, light bulb replacement.
• Filter replace for heating and cooling equipment.
• Painting
• Vehicle and pedestrian door repair.

• Provide custodial assistance as needed including:
• Floor scrubbing
• Bathroom cleaning

• Exterior maintenance to include:
• Snow removal on sidewalks and around building
• Lawn and landscaping maintenance/mowing.
• Maintenance on Car Wash Facility

Requirements:

• High School diploma or General education degree (GED).
• A minimum 3-years experience in building maintenance position, electrical license and or experience desired.
• Experience operating skid steer and other light equipment.
• Experience on Car Wash Operations a plus.
• Must successfully pass a ten year criminal background check as well as a pre-employment drug test.
