Business Analyst Summer Intern to help our Project Services team define, plan, and implement a diverse set of projects within the technology organization. You'll work with a large team of project managers and business analysts, a driven set of software developers, and business and technology leaders from across the company. You'll engage with teams who have a passion for agile software development and balance that with the application of sound business analysis and project management practices. You'll be part of a team environment where you can learn and help launch best-in-market products to our organization's internal and external customers.

As a Business Analyst Intern in our well-established internship program, you will: - Work directly with project managers and business analysts in the Project Services team to help deliver technical products across team specialties (Product Development, Corporate Infrastructure, Corporate Applications, and Business Intelligence & Analytics)
- Gain experience in how a business analyst works with a software development team
- Create process maps
- Learn about the agile software development process
- Write product requirements/user stories and use JIRA to manage them
- Participate in daily huddles to discuss user story specifics and project direction
- Work with end users and stakeholders (including senior leaders) to gather requirements and translate them into actionable items for the development team
- Help prepare presentations to share project information with end users and stakeholders
- Own specific initiatives and be held accountable for delivery, and also assist other team members with their tasks
- Troubleshoot user issues and develop solutions
- Gain a thorough understanding of how CARFAX works, both internally and from our customers' perspectives
Requirements: - Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in a business, technical, or technical writing major at an accredited university
- A passion for data and data analysis
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- An outstanding work ethic and great people skills
- Sound time management and organization skills
- Experience as a member of a project team (e.g. from class projects, volunteer work, previous work experience, etc.)
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience using web-based applications (e.g., communication tools like Slack and document sharing services)
- A willingness to jump in, learn, and lend a hand when needed
