Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst
Reports To: CIO

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced and skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to lead efforts aimed at meeting business objectives including information delivery and data analytics projects with the goal of empowering and enabling business users with actionable information. You will ensure data consistency and governance, maintaining high-quality standards across all organizational data.

The role provides development and leadership in finding solutions to multiple, cross-disciplinary business intelligence, analytics, data visualization or data warehousing/data architecture projects. In addition to providing project and technical leadership, expectations include supporting existing solutions in place.

Successful candidates will be analytical with strong ERP & business acumen, and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

• Identify, gather, clean, analyze, visualize, and present existing data from various sources to help inform business decisions
• Work with business leaders and stakeholders to define the business need, determine current data availability, and solutions feasibility 
• Develop solutions that provide accurate information quickly to the organization
• Analyze, Design and build reports, dashboards or other business intelligence components as needed
• Provide leadership regarding the creation of database tables, objects, assets and/or cubes utilizing commonly accepted methodologies and best practices
• Ensure data quality and integrity
• Execute ad hoc requests in legacy and nextgen tools
• Administer user access within legacy and nextgen tools
• Assist users with user acceptance testing
• Support the team members in the daily use of data systems

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Experience and knowledge of data integration tools and platforms
• Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
• Experience designing and building data platforms that support data lakes, data stores, data ingestion, transformations and API services for consuming data
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze, interpret trends or patterns and communicate those to leadership
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Knowledge of SQL and SharePoint data structure for data querying and manipulation
• Experience with Power BI & Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis
• Familiar with and can maintain, update, and configure software systems and ETL processes (e.g. Microsoft O365, SharePoint, Webservers, APIs, sFTP)
