What You’ll Do
As a CAD Technician at C.S. Davidson, you’ll be essential in turning engineering vision into a buildable reality. You’ll:
Prepare high-quality drawings and design visuals across a range of civil engineering projects
Use Civil 3D to create, update, and organize various technical construction drawing sets
Collaborate closely with a design team to meet project goals and timelines
Apply and uphold our firm’s drawing standards for clarity and precision
Participate in field visits, assist with project documentation, and contribute to design discussions
You’ll be supported by experienced engineers and mentors who are deeply invested in your growth.
What We’re Looking For In a CAD Technician
Associate’s degree in drafting or a related field
Experience in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software like Civil 3D
A solid understanding of drawing layouts, project coordination, and drafting accuracy
