**Additional Information About the Role**
Barnes Jewish Hospital is seeking a a call center representative to handle all incoming calls to the hospital. This individual will also call emergency code on the intercom within the hospital and send out emergency alerts.
Schedule: Nights, rotating
Week 1: Sun & Mon 8 PM-8 AM, Tues 11:30 PM-730 AM, Saturday 8 PM-8 AM
Week 2 Wed, Thurs, Sat 8 PM-8 AM
**Overview**
**Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital** proudly serves the health care needs of families in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties. The 102-bed community hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, the Breast Health and Women's Center, the Cardiology Center, the Neurosurgery Center and the Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center.
Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center and carries a Level II stroke certification. Additionally, the hospital's medical office building houses offices for specialists in primary care, cardiology, obstetrics, dermatology, surgery and pulmonology. Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital also offers outpatient services including physical therapy, a sleep lab, and cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation.

**Preferred Qualifications**
**Role Purpose**
Responsible for providing call center services by assisting internal and external callers in a professional and courteous manner.
**Responsibilities**
+ Answers and directs all inquiries from patients, visitors, physicians and staff to appropriate locations using an online database and printed directories.
+ Answers incoming calls according to department guidelines.
+ Provides paging service.
+ Provides clerical duties, organizes and maintains records.
+ Ensures customers receive exceptional service through consistent performance, answering, directing and paging according to the customers request.
