Visiting Angels  is immediately hiring a Caregiver  Start your new career today and ask about our NEW sign on bonus!     Job Benefits:  Competitive pay through direct deposit, with paid training provided  Paid training provided and Convenient Daytime/Morning schedule  Performance and attendance based raises Mileage reimbursement, holiday overtime pay, and employee referral bonuses    Limit your exposure to the public by working in a one-on-one care environment   Organized and caring leadership, which provides clear and consistent feedback   Job Duties Include: Provide essential, in-home care to seniors and disabled adults Hygiene assistance; including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Perform meal preparation/diet monitoring, including shopping for groceries  Help client with completing errands, keeping appointments, and shopping duties  Assist with medication reminders, when needed  Light housekeeping and laundry assistance  Offer mobility support and assistance with transfers   Candidate Requirements: ~ A dedication and passion for serving seniors, with a strong sense of responsibility  ~1+ years of hands-on experience preferred, either in a private home or facility ~ High school / GED ~ Must pass state/nationwide background  check, fingerprinting and drug screen  ~ Must have valid Driver’s License, currently lease/own your own vehicle, and provide proof of current auto insurance ~ Ability to transfer patients and provide mobility assistance, including turning immobile patients who are bed-ridden  ~ Perform all personal care and hygiene assistance functions as described above  ~ Cheerful personality, a positive attitude, and a commitment to focusing on the needs of the client   About Visiting Angels  Visiting Angels is a locally owned and operated home care agency, that is part of a nationally recognized home care network.
