Location: Pompton Plains, NJ, 07444 
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
On-Call Requirement: 12-14 shifts per month

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to join our team. This role involves preparing and assisting in a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, PCI (STEMI), pacemaker insertions, peripheral vascular procedures, and interventional radiology. The Cath Lab Technician will monitor and document hemodynamic data, provide procedural support, and adhere to on-call protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac catheterizations, PCI (STEMI), and other vascular procedures.
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Provide procedural assistance to the physician before, during, and after procedures.
• Assess and manage access sites, communicating any issues to the physician.
• Follow Cath Lab on-call protocols and respond as required.

Skills and Certifications:

• Required:

  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
  • Previous experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab

• Preferred:

  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) Certification

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
