Job Purposes::
The candidate will provide medical coverage to intercollegiate athletes as assigned by head athletic trainer. The position may require night and weekend hours as well as travel. The position will also have additional administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications::
Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field; Board of Certification recognition as a certified athletic trainer; eligibility to meet Ohio athletic trainers' licensure.
Preferred Qualifications::
Minimum 2 years athletic training experience.
Essential Functions and percent of time::
25% – Consultations/Evaluations:
Recognize and evaluate injuries and illnesses and determine proper course of action. Assist with pre-season physicals. Document all injuries and illnesses, schedule appointments as necessary.
Working Conditions::
Various hours of work are required due to practices and competition.
