JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct internal and customer specific audits regarding special processes (NADCAP)
Prepare preparation checklists and documentation prior to any in-house, and/or customer specific audits.
Assist with planning and execution of activities as it relates to the development and supervision of quality.
Assist with maintaining NADCAP accreditation.
Collaborate and engage with cross functional project teams focused on new product introduction, continuous improvement, and nonconformance resolution.
Meet with customers to define their needs and determine the best solutions.
Participate in design, manufacturing, and test documentation reviews to ensure applicable contract, program, design, and quality requirements are met.
Develop processes and tools to ensure products and services provided meet all contractual, program, design, and quality requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor"s degree in engineering, or equivalent OR
Sufficient experience if no Degree
5+ years providing engineering support to a manufacturing environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Experience working in aerospace industry
Lean and six sigma experience/knowledge
Proficient with computer systems and basic software - specifically working with Microsoft Excel
Familiar with NADCAP Chem Processing audits
Familiar with the chemical process of titanium (cleaning process)
Familiar with the following specs: BAC5753/BAC5842/P4TF3/P4TF2/DPS9.483
Proficient at reading, analyzing and interpreting customer drawings, specifications, procedures, and standards.
Hands on manufacturing experience is helpful
