Motion Control Programmer for Siemens
Job Title: Motion Control Programmer (Siemens, FANUC or Heidenhain)
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Motion Control Programmer with expertise in
Siemens, FANUC or Heidenhain control systems to join our team. The successful candidate will
be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining motion control programs for various
automation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement motion control programs using Siemens PLCs and
drives.
Integrate motion control solutions with other automation systems and machinery.
Perform troubleshooting and debugging of motion control systems.
Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to optimize machine performance.
Conduct system testing and validation to ensure proper functionality.
Provide technical support and training to end-users.
Maintain documentation for motion control programs and systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or a
related field is highly recommended.
Strong understanding of motion control concepts and applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication skills.
Siemens
o Proven experience with Siemens PLCs (S7-1200/1500) and motion control
systems (SINAMICS, SIMOTION).
o Proficiency in programming languages such as LAD, FBD, SCL, and STL.
o Experience with TIA Portal and other Siemens software tools.
o Knowledge of industrial networking (Profinet, Profibus).
Heidenhain
o Extensive experience with Heidenhain CNC control systems (TNC 640, iTNC
530).
o Proficiency in programming Heidenhain languages (ISO code, Heidenhain
conversational).
FANUC
o Significant experience with FANUC CNC and PLC control systems.
o Proficiency in FANUC programming languages (G-code, KAREL, PMC).
o Knowledge of industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet).
