Fluidra’s looking for a Contract Scrum Master to join usin Carlsbad, CA.This is a temporary assignment lasting a minimum of 7 months in duration. The position will be required to work in a #hybrid capacity (onsite at least 2 days) and the working hours will be on our 9/80 schedule. Every other Friday off..

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

The Scrum Master will join our Digital Marketing team for a temporary assignment. The position will be responsible for managing web project requests and keeping the team focused and on track with deliverables using scrum methodologies. In this role, the candidate will lead the delivery of cross-functional projects across the marketing, product and engineering teams. The role will help foster communication, remove roadblocks for the team and ensure the appropriate use and alignment of resources to ensure successful project completion. Additionally, you will: 

• Act as Scrum Master of cross-functional teams, comprising of marketing, product and engineering to prioritize and coordinate project efforts
• Prepare and lead project plans, documentation, risk mitigation and resource management for cross-team initiatives
• Coach, facilitate and maintain a steady and beneficial Agile process methodology for the team, driving process and transparency
• Manage all tickets and conduct ticket health checks to ensure accurate and complete ticketing records (i.e. look for missing information, add estimates, and ensure teammates are properly assigned and close out tickets.) 
• Communicate with the business regarding the team’s bandwidth and project status and send bi-weekly project updates
• Facilitate daily standups as needed
• Resolve urgent issues and remove impediments for the team
• Actively participate in assisting the team in resolving issues and escalate as needed.
• Update project timelines and burndown charts using Smartsheets
• Serve as primary administrator for Jira and other tools
• Close and start sprints
• Create and facilitate sprint retros
• Content entry / facilitate product launches
• Additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned

WHAT WE SEEK

• 5+ years of digital Project Management experience
• 3+ years Scrum Master experience within digital marketing or similar environment
• Strong working experience on digital projects such as websites, mobile apps, etc.
• Proven ability to drive project planning and execution while adding value beyond that of a project manager
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with proven experience in Scrum principles in multi-team environment
• Proven ability to function in a fast moving and rapidly evolving environment
• Ability to foster a collaborative, positive team environment
• Expertise as an administrator in Jira or similar tools
• Experience with Sitecore is a plus

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required

Expected hourly range is $50.50 – $60.10. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location. Your recruiter will provide additional details on our compensation.
