We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual Customer Account & Returns Administrator (EDI) to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical in supporting our customer service operations by handling order processing, client communication, returns management, and EDI transactions. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can communicate effectively with external customers and internal departments, including Sales Representatives, Account Executives, and Sales Managers.
Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments, including Sales Representatives, Account Executives, and Sales Managers, to gather information and resolve inquiries related to customer orders and programs.
Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email regarding company products, services, and order status.
Submit weekly order reports to the Department Manager and ensure timely communication of key updates.
Verify and enter customer order data into the system via EDI and manual entry; calculate total costs for customers and confirm all information for accuracy.
Release verified orders to the warehouse system after ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
Track orders using UPS/FedEx systems and coordinate with freight carriers to address shipping issues and provide updates to customers.
Process customer returns and replacements: including RMA processing, vendor communication for authorizations, and troubleshooting product issues.
Create and edit purchase orders when necessary to support order corrections or replacements.
Obtain freight quotes for current and future shipments; communicate with customers regarding shipping options and costs.
Verify inputted orders against original documentation to ensure complete accuracy.
Review and enter Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) upon approval.
