JOB TITLE – CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ORDER FULFILLMENT ASSOCIATE
Summary: A rapidly growing company specializing in manufacture and retail of eye-wear products is looking for a Customer Service and Order Fulfillment Associate. The ideal candidate would be a team player with an excellent attitude and necessary skills for the role.
Location: Prospect Park Mount Prospect, IL
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently through automated and manual workflows for inbound and outbound operations.
- Provide customer service via e-mail and amazon & eBay messages. Resolve complaints.
- Pack and ship customer orders as received and informed. Inspect merchandise, track inventory, handle shipments and complete other related duties.
- Stage warehouse materials for outbound shipment.
- Ensure that SKU numbers match the product. Process customers' orders correctly.
- Unload incoming shipments, compare documents for accuracy.
- Notify appropriate personnel of any discrepancies or damages.
- Assist with receiving and stocking inventory.
- Report overages and shortages to appropriate personnel.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor and/ or manager.
- Ensure strict adherence of to safety standards.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 1-3 years of experience as an order fulfillment agent or equivalent role with associated customer service experience, preferably with eCommerce companies.
- Exposure to Amazon/ eBay workflow including Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) preferred.
- Attention to detail with an ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English (read, write, speak); good math skills.
- Ability to perform physical labor intensive tasks like lifting and carrying heavy loads up to 50lb.
- Professional demeanor and presentable personal appearance.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team. Ability to work unsupervised.
- Dependable and dedicated with strong work ethics; basic computer skills.
- Valid driver's license with authorization to work in the USA.
- High school or equivalent; can be offset by relevant industry experience in similar role.
