JOB TITLE – CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ORDER FULFILLMENT ASSOCIATE

Summary: A rapidly growing company specializing in manufacture and retail of eye-wear products is looking for a Customer Service and Order Fulfillment Associate. The ideal candidate would be a team player with an excellent attitude and necessary skills for the role.

Location: Prospect Park Mount Prospect, IL

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently through automated and manual workflows for inbound and outbound operations.
Provide customer service via e-mail and amazon & eBay messages. Resolve complaints.
Pack and ship customer orders as received and informed. Inspect merchandise, track inventory, handle shipments and complete other related duties.
Stage warehouse materials for outbound shipment.
Ensure that SKU numbers match the product. Process customers' orders correctly.
Unload incoming shipments, compare documents for accuracy.
Notify appropriate personnel of any discrepancies or damages.
Assist with receiving and stocking inventory.
Report overages and shortages to appropriate personnel.
Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor and/ or manager.
Ensure strict adherence of to safety standards.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required

1-3 years of experience as an order fulfillment agent or equivalent role with associated customer service experience, preferably with eCommerce companies.
Exposure to Amazon/ eBay workflow including Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) preferred.
Attention to detail with an ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment.

Ability to communicate fluently in English (read, write, speak); good math skills.
Ability to perform physical labor intensive tasks like lifting and carrying heavy loads up to 50lb.
Professional demeanor and presentable personal appearance.
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team. Ability to work unsupervised.
Dependable and dedicated with strong work ethics; basic computer skills.
Valid driver's license with authorization to work in the USA.
High school or equivalent; can be offset by relevant industry experience in similar role.
