Job Description

Fusion HCR is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst II to join our team on a 6-month contract with possible extensions for a role that is 100% onsite.  NO THIRD PARTIES, MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN AND MUST ALREADY LIVE IN LAS VEGAS!  The ideal candidate will have a strong ownership mindset and will be responsible for managing the exception system, monitoring phishing emails, and ensuring the overall security of the company's network.

Key Responsibilities:

Exception System Management:

• Research, track, monitor, and coordinate exception schedules within the system.
• Handle requests for exceptions, such as access to restricted operating systems, and ensure proper protocols are followed.

Phishing Email Monitoring:

• Collaborate with KnowBe4, a cyber training and phishing testing company, to monitor phishing emails sent to employees.
• Quarantine suspicious emails and perform follow-up investigations when employees fall for phishing attempts.

Security Operations:

• Utilize Splunk for monitoring and managing security incidents.
• Take ownership of the security processes and ensure proactive measures are in place to prevent cyber threats.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst, with expertise in exception management and phishing email monitoring.
• Strong familiarity with Splunk and its application in a security context.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of security processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
