Maverc Technologies is looking for an Cyber Security Intern to support our Security Operations Team.

Overview

What You’ll Do:

• Utilize security tools assist in monitoring of network traffic and analyzing security events and incidents
• Identify, track, and report on system vulnerabilities
• Participate in Investigation processes including alert monitoring, log analysis, vulnerability scanning, PKI, etc

Qualifications

What Skills you'll need to have 

• Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related STEM related field
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Verbal and writing communication skills
• Experience analyzing network traffic
• Ability to analyze vulnerability data
• Proficiency and experience with Python
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What Will Make You Standout

• Experience with installing, configuring, and administering the following technologies: SIEM, Vulnerability Scanners, Anti-Virus Etc
