This position can be located in our Cleveland OH, Columbus OH, or Pittsburgh, PA. offices with work performed at client site in that city; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
CGI is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The Data Analyst will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing ongoing reports. This role involves working with large datasets, identifying trends, and supporting decision-making processes across one of our US bank clients. Experience and skills with Informatica is essential.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Technical expertise in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software.
- Ensures that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
- Design and develop Informatica mappings, sessions, and workflows
- Identify areas of Optimization
- Design, build, deploy and support end to end ETL processes using Informatica.
- Document customizations, configurations, and integrations for reference and support.
- Communication with client stakeholders and partners
- Ensuring that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
- Iterative development on an agile team.
- Daily agile active SCRUM participation
- Lead and mentor other developers on the team or in other teams within the client.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role - 5 years of hands-on experience working with Informatica
- Good understanding of ETL design and development best practices
- Experience writing SQL queries and procedures on relational databases such as Oracle, Sqlserver, and DB2.
- Basic knowledge of UNIX/Shell Scripting
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to clearly articulate solution alternatives
- Experience with data analysis and lineage
- Ability to troubleshoot issues independently
- Prior knowledge on Asset Management/Brokerage preferred.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300 - $180,200.
