Salary Range: $24.95 - $28.79
*As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices
Position Summary Under direction, performs administrative, data collection and operational activities for clinical research studies. This role also maintains databases that will be used for data analysis.
Job Responsibilities - Assists research team with the enrollment, treatment, and data collection of research subjects.
- Ensures accurate and timely compilation of subject data.
- Reports all Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) to Institutional Review Board and other agencies, as required.
- Maintains research records pertinent to active participation as a member institution of cooperative groups and research consortiums.
- Reviews clinical charts and compiles laboratory and clinical data.
- Prepares and analyzes data reports.
- Prepares and coordinates all documents necessary to initiate and continue studies.
- Assists in the preparation of abstracts and manuscripts.
- Prepares graphs, tables, charts, slides and posters.
- Proofreads research materials and documents.
- Coordinates and participates in site visits and audits. Ensures readiness and compliance. Addresses and resolves issues uncovered during visit/audit.
Education - High school diploma or GED
Experience Previous related experience in a hospital, research, or university environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple simultaneous demands and prioritize work.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
