Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in San Diego, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and organizing data with accuracy and efficiency. This position requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to handle large volumes of information effectively. Responsibilities: - Transfer and organize academic and student profile data with precision. - Perform thorough data cleanup to ensure accuracy and consistency. - Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and manipulate datasets efficiently. - Copy and paste data across multiple sheets while maintaining integrity. - Extract and compile relevant information for reporting purposes. - Verify data entries to ensure completeness and accuracy. - Assist in maintaining organized digital records for easy access. - Perform routine checks to identify and resolve discrepancies in data. Requirements - Proven experience in data entry or a similar role. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and formatting. - Strong typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy. - Attention to detail and the ability to identify errors in large datasets. - Familiarity with handling numeric data and performing repetitive tasks. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
