Key Details:

  • Pay Range:  Dental Assistant I (entry-level, up to 2 years of experience): $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
  • Growth opportunities are available, including potential advancement to Dental Assistant II and III.
  • Bilingual Pay Policy:  Eligible for a $1.25/hour increase for Spanish proficiency.
  • Schedule:  Full-time, Monday and Wed-Fri with 10 hour shifts. No evening and no weekends!
  • Location:  18633 SE Stark St., Suite 401 – Portland, OR 97233.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified DA (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
  • CPR/BLS certified.
  • Cleanliness champion – your sterilization skills are top-notch.
  • Superb computer skills – you're the tech-savvy dental dynamo.
  • Must be fluent in English, bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. 

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience working in a dental clinic.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, CDC, and ADA standards.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

 

Responsibilities:  As a Dental Assistant at Wallace, you’ll support our dental team, helping ensure smooth operations in the clinic. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting dentists and hygienists during procedures.
  • Sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Educating patients on oral health and addressing their questions or concerns.
  • Supporting the clinic’s overall operations and contributing to an efficient workflow.
  • Collaborating with a compassionate team to provide outstanding patient care.
