Office Receptionist/Administrator

The office has recently been purchased and is undergoing a transition in ownership, presenting an exciting opportunity to start at a growing practice and make a mark in our community. We are looking for a motivated and friendly dental receptionist to aid in patient care and ensure the smooth operation of our office.
Position Responsibilities :
-Manage Patient Appointments: Schedule and confirm appointments with patients.
-Patient Check-In and Check-Out: Greet patients warmly, verify personal and insurance information, and assist with the check-out process.
-Insurance Verification: Handle insurance claims and verify patient coverage, ensuring accurate billing and efficient processing.
-Maintain Patient Records: Accurately update and maintain patient files, including medical history and treatment record, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
-Customer Service: Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing information about services, procedures, and office policies.
Coordination of Office Communications: Manage phone calls, emails, and other communications, ensuring timely responses to patient needs.
-Assist with Billing and Payments: Process payments and assist patients with billing inquiries, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
-Support Staff with Administrative Tasks: Assist dental staff with various administrative duties, including organizing files and preparing necessary documents for patient treatments.
-Maintain Office Organization: Ensure the reception area and office are clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
-Promote Office Services: Inform patients about additional services and oral health education, contributing to overall patient engagement and satisfaction.

Qualifications :
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
-Experience in dental or medical reception/administration required.
Work Environment :
-Full-time position, Monday through Thursday 7:45 AM - 5:15 PM with an hour lunch.
-Large, beautiful office located in a desirable area, surrounded by many amenities.
