Dental Technician Assistant

In this position you will work as a part of the Dentistry team to ensure exceptional patient care and provide overall support and assistance to all CASE departments, doctors, and hospital team members.
We're thrilled to announce a major expansion at CASE, marking a new chapter of growth and opportunity! To meet the evolving needs of our patients and community, we're adding a dedicated corridor for
Internal Medicine, Dentistry, Dermatology, and Ophthalmology services. This addition, along with extensive renovations to our ICU, Nephrology, and minimally invasive suite , will provide state-of-the-art equipment and enhanced facilities. With this expansion, we’re adding over 10,000 square feet of cutting-edge space, creating an environment where excellence in patient care thrives. We’re excited to continue growing, elevating healthcare, and making a meaningful impact—together!
Compensation : - $20-$23 hourly, based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist Department in creating patient estimates for dental patients
- Assist Department in obtaining patient medical history
- Proficiency in admitting and discharging patients within the Dentistry Service
- Demonstrate exceptional client communication and education as well as assisting with scheduling appointments, procedures and advanced imaging
- Practices proper and safe patient restrain of the Dental patients
- Assist Department with general venipuncture, peripheral catheter placement and maintenance
- Demonstrate knowledge in handling/names of surgical instruments
- Assist Department with Dental Prophylaxis and surgical procedures
- Maintain dental equipment and general inventory
Dental anesthesia-related skills and responsibilities: - Assist Technician with pre-anesthesia examination to determine safety and reis for dentistry cases
- Understand and use CASE anesthesia monitoring forms/protocols
- Proficiency in setting up and troubleshooting anesthesia machinery
- Assist Technician with induction and recovery of dental patients
Qualifications: Knowledge, skills, and Abilities: - Knowledge of basic veterinary practices, procedures, and terminology
- Ability to communicate well with other CASE staff members.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with little or no supervision.
- Ability to multi-task and produce quality work while making effective decisions.
