Job Description

Document Scanning Technician Small, locally owned document shredding company is seeking a document scanning technician for its document scanning division. All document scanning employees report directly to the Operations Manager, document scanning technician will complete client scanning projects to specifications with a high degree of integrity, discretion, and efficiency. We are looking for candidates that have a high attention to detail, works well independently with limited supervision and thrives in a small company environment. Job Duties and Responsibilities

Complete scanning services projects to specifications agreed to with the client, including on time cost and quality control
Become proficient in our scanning software
Operate high volume scanners
Operate image handling software
Operate MS Office and email systems
Maintain Quality Control logs
Ensure scanners are working properly, checking for performance capability
Clear paper jams and inform technicians of specific problems
Ensure storage and operations areas are kept neat and organized
High level of communication with manager and clients to ensure highest efficiency and effectiveness
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Some related scanning job experience is preferred
Valid driver's license
Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
Demonstrated competency in basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite
Ability to work legally in the USA
Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test
Pass criminal background check, no felony are acceptable

Benefits

Full time position
Monday to Friday – Start and end times can be flexible after training period is completed
Pay rate of $24.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience
Medical and dental benefits available after 90 probation period
401k program available after 1 year of employment
