Job Description

Document Scanning Technician Small, locally owned document shredding company is seeking a document scanning technician for its document scanning division. All document scanning employees report directly to the Operations Manager, document scanning technician will complete client scanning projects to specifications with a high degree of integrity, discretion, and efficiency. We are looking for candidates that have a high attention to detail, works well independently with limited supervision and thrives in a small company environment. Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete scanning services projects to specifications agreed to with the client, including on time cost and quality control
• Become proficient in our scanning software
• Operate high volume scanners
• Operate image handling software
• Operate MS Office and email systems
• Maintain Quality Control logs
• Ensure scanners are working properly, checking for performance capability
• Clear paper jams and inform technicians of specific problems
• Ensure storage and operations areas are kept neat and organized
• High level of communication with manager and clients to ensure highest efficiency and effectiveness
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Some related scanning job experience is preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
• Demonstrated competency in basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Ability to work legally in the USA
• Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test
• Pass criminal background check, no felony are acceptable
• Past employment verification

Benefits

• Full time position
• Monday to Friday – Start and end times can be flexible after training period is completed
• Pay rate of $24.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience
• Medical and dental benefits available after 90 probation period
• 401k program available after 1 year of employment
