Job Description

Country Cutz Grooming and Boarding LLC seeks an experienced Dog Bather/Kennel assistant. We are a growing grooming and boarding business looking to expand and are seeking an individual who would like to start a career in dog care.

The ideal person for this position understands the safety and priority of the animals in their care. He/she should be an independent and reliable self-starter with lots of energy and a passion for dogs.  

Responsibilities: 

• Bathing : bathing dogs, nail trimming or nail grinding, drying with a towel and dryer, brushing dogs out, cleaning ears, and paying attention to detail on each dog.
• Kennel  Assistant: Cleaning kennels by procedure, feeding dogs, administering medications, walking dogs, and checking dogs in and out of the boarding facility.
• Customer Service: Answering phones, making appointments, checking dogs in and out for services, being friendly, and paying attention to detail. 

Requirements: 

• Prior experience working with dogs is preferred
• Compassion, patience, and reliability
• The ability to walk, run, pull, push, bend or reach
• The ability to lift to 30 pounds
• Capable of handling all sizes of canines, from small to large
