E&I Technician - Sugar Refinery - Northeast CO

Position Overview:

Our client, a leading Sugar Refinery located in northeast Colorado, is currently seeking a dedicated E&I Technician to join their team. This role primarily involves maintaining electronic and pneumatic process control equipment across the facility.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Commitment to personal and food safety, ensuring efficient operations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Regular attendance is mandatory.
• Promote and uphold good maintenance practices throughout the facility.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Develop effective time management skills.
• Ability to multitask, with strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
• Work effectively within a team, lead, and coordinate electrical tasks and functions.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Must possess a comprehensive set of quality hand tools.
• Learn to repair and maintain industrial facility equipment used in beet sugar processing.
• Flexibility to work according to the company's universal schedule.
• Knowledgeable in the beet sugar process to diagnose electrical issues.
• Experience in Industrial or Commercial Electric work.
• Proficiency in Instrumentation.
• Certification or ability to obtain certification to operate Mobile Equipment.
• Electrical skills including Motor Maintenance, Welding Racks, Installing conduit, Basic MCC Controls, AC/DC Circuits, Electric Schematics, PLC Frequency Drive Knowledge, Valves and Transmitter Control Systems.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Salary:

• This position offers a competitive salary ($32.65-$43.72/hour), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance.
