Job Description:
Responsible for teaching safety courses and assessing learning outcomes in area of instruction. Assignments may include alternative delivery methods, evening courses, and multiple sites. Must demonstrate excellence in teaching and service. Must demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of the community college.
Work location: in-person, mainly teaching in Davenport, IA, with occasional travel to Muscatine or Clinton. Part-time, as needed.Required Qualification:
Associate's Degree in discipline preferred or a combination of education, training, and at least 6,000 hours of relevant tested experience in the field(s) of instruction in which the instructor teaches classes.
Preferred Qualifications:
MUST be knowledgeable in safety, Fall protection, OSHA , PPE , and Forklift operation
