Your role and responsibilities As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business. You will be mainly accountable for: • Designing, manufacturing, and test components that fulfill requirements for various flow board redesign. • Analyzing problems or deficiencies and developing Product solutions to resolve them. • Conducting experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate product designs. • Updating documentation and drawings/designs using ABB tools • Work directly with Senior Engineers to develop and test new electrical approaches for ABB Products • Learning Windchill PLM tool
Qualifications for the role - Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
- Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
- Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress
