Entry Level Events Assistant | Immediate Start 

Location: Long Beach, CA | On-Site

Our California-based client is expanding their events team and is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join them! Working alongside a dynamic events and promotions team, you will have the opportunity to interact with the public, assisting customers to find the perfect products and services.

No events experience is necessary, but we are seeking individuals with a proven background in customer-facing roles. Whether you're a recent Graduate eager to launch your career or someone seeking valuable experience, this is the ideal opportunity to thrive within the events and marketing industry.

Events Assistant Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Setting Up and Maintaining Promotional Event Sites  
  • Conduct ongoing checks throughout the event to maintain the site’s professional appearance.
  • Prepare and manage all point-of-sale materials, including brochures, flyers, and promotional items.
  • Replenish promotional stock as needed to maintain a well-stocked display.
  • Engaging and Interacting with Customers 
  • Actively listen to customer needs, providing personalized advice and information on products or services.
  • Perform live product demonstrations, showcasing features and benefits to educate customers and increase interest.
  • Handle objections and questions confidently to move customers further down the sales funnel.
  • Work towards achieving daily and weekly sales targets set by the company and clients.
  • Track the number of customer engagements, sales conversions, and follow-ups during and after the event.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell complementary products or services that enhance the customer’s purchase experience.
  • Provide post-event customer service by responding to any additional inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
