MEISON is a collection of high-end and luxury women’s apparel brands including Jones New York, Misook, Ming Wang, Masai Copenhagen, and Kasper. We focus on elevated, timeless workwear and fashions that are easy to mix-and-match and designed to help build an effortless and reusable wardrobe. Our brands are found online, through specialty boutiques, and in stores with our various retail partners such as Neiman Marcus, Saks 5 th Avenue, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s and Dillard’s. 

Position Summary: 

Meison is seeking a junior-level well-organized and detail-oriented Fashion Development Associate to join our team! 

Responsibilities: 

• Sample Organization 
  • Work with our Warehouse team to pull samples needed for different requests 
  • Prepare Sample stickers
  • Organize the samples and deliver to requestors 
  • Return samples to Warehouse 
• Photoshoot Assistance  
  • Prepare photoshoot samples according to the styling information
  • Ship samples according to photoshoot schedule 
• Prepare Sell Shot and Editorial shot list 
  • Prepare the shot list and CADs 
  • Communicate with vendors for re-sample production and shipping
• Marketing
  • Creation of seasonal and monthly brand campaign calendars, content planning, visual asset planning and collaboration with Ecommerce Brand Specialists on promotions and site content
  • Responsible for owning strategy and execution of all campaign and customer-retention email, SMS, and direct mail marketing.
  • Maintain knowledge, awareness of overall inventory, category selling, and product performance
  • Copywriting for marketing stories,  email & SMS campaigns, content creation for website homepage, landing pages, and collections
  • Project management and ticket creation, testing and QA
  • Maintaining brand standards, brand voice across all channels
  • Presenting brand plans and strategy to supervisors and key stakeholders
  • Management of PR requests, images, samples & content coordination

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel Merchandising, Apparel Studies, Fashion Design, Retail Management, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Business or similar field preferred
• Passion for luxury fashion
• Strong communication and organizational skills 
• Strong sense of urgency and responsibility 
• High attention to detail 
• Must be flexible and able to work in a self-directed, rapidly changing environment
• Expert knowledge and proficiency with MS Excel
