Our client, a premier Non-profit, is seeking an interim Finance Director to lead the team until a permanent Director can be hired. As the Finance Director, you will be part of the accounting team supporting Reporting functions and leadership of the team. The ideal candidate will have solid Financial Reporting experience for a non-profit organization and will be hard-working, self-directed and a quick learner ready to hit the ground running, which will align successfully within the organization and team.
Position Summary :
The interim Finance Director will manage a team of three (1 part-time A/P associate, 1 full-time Payroll clerk, 1 full-time staff accountant who is retiring in July). This is a hands-on role responsible for the financial reporting for this $20 million entity. Responsibility checklists and procedure documentation are available to assist with the transition. The departing employee has agreed to provide support to assist with the transition.
