Vacatia Berkley Group is a growing leader in the vacation ownership industry, providing innovative solutions for resort management, sales, technology and real estate investments. As we continue to expand, we seek a highly motivated MBA Finance Intern to support our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Corporate Strategy team.
Position Summary: This internship is designed for a
current MBA student with a strong interest in
financial analysis, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), asset dispositions, and corporate strategy within the hospitality and vacation ownership industry. The intern will gain hands-on experience in
financial modeling, investment analysis, and strategic decision-making while working closely with the
executive leadership and the Director of FP&A .
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Business Analysis: - Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to support business initiatives.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to evaluate investment opportunities and capital allocation strategies.
- Assist in optimizing pricing, financing, and sales strategies for vacation ownership products.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership
Financial Planning & Analysis: - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct financial modeling and data analysis to evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development of KPI dashboards to track financial and operational performance.
Mergers, Acquisitions & Asset Dispositions: - Perform financial due diligence, valuation modeling, and ROI analysis for potential M&A transactions and asset dispositions .
- Research and analyze industry trends, competitive benchmarks, and market opportunities.
- Assist in preparing materials for executive leadership, board meetings, and investor presentations .
Qualifications: - Currently pursuing an MBA (preferably with a focus in Finance, Strategy, or Real Estate).
- Previous experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance required; experience in real estate is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of corporate finance, investment banking, M&A, and financial valuation methods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial data into business insights.
