Job Description

Abacus is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Fiscal Account Clerk I for one of our valued clients. The ideal candidate will support accounting and administrative functions with a focus on financial recordkeeping, invoice tracking, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and send professional email communications to clients using mail merge tools

  • Track invoices, reconcile payments, and assist with budget monitoring

  • Enter, update, and maintain financial data in various systems and databases

  • Set up and maintain databases for new and ongoing projects

  • Assist with establishing and organizing financial documentation for new initiatives

  • Perform general data entry and ensure accuracy of financial records

  • Provide support with other clerical and accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an accounting or administrative support role preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word); knowledge of mail merge

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
