Job Description

We are looking for  English <> French (FR) Consecutive and Simultaneous interpreter for a Jewelry Manufacturing company

Interpreter is needed throughout the day for a period of two weeks as follows:

• onsite facility walkthrough (simultaneous)
• presentations (simultaneous)
• one-on-one meetings (Consecutive)
• group meetings (Consecutive)
• some sight translation such as reviewing subject line of documents to determine which documents need to be formally translated. (Sight translation)

Meetings throughout the day will last no longer than 1 hour to 1.5 hours at a time. With down time in between while the team reviews documentation.

Subject Matter: Inventory control, receiving shipping. Financial operations. 

Dates: Monday October 14th, - October 25th
Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm
Location: Strasbourg, France or in vicinity Cities (Paris). 

The Requirements and Qualifications:

* Interpreter must be familiar and comfortable with simultaneous interpreting, consecutive interpreting and sight translation. 
* Interpreter must have portable simultaneous interpreting equipment (Bodypack) with up to 20 receivers.
* Be fluent in both English and the French (FR)
* Have strong verbal communication skills in both languages.
* Be familiar with note taking and memory techniques.
* Professional and courteous behavior
* Be accustomed with the consecutive interpretation process.
* Strong ability and passion for interpretation and customer service
