Our client is a leading innovator in the biopharma industry and they are hiring a talented Golang Developer on join the team remotely on an initial six-month contract. The successful candidate will be instrumental in tackling complex product challenges, crafting exceptional API experiences, and collaborating across a variety of products and cutting-edge tech.
Responsibilities
As the Golang Devloper, you will develop and implement robust, well-documented software in Go.
You will be responsible to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
Engage in engineering processes, such as code and architectural reviews.
Liaise closely with the community and team members on technical specifications.
Lead efforts to enhance engineering and operational practices.
Deploy and manage services created by the team.
Skillset
Excellent knowledge of the Go programming language, frameworks and tools.
Expertise in code versioning systems like Git.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
Understanding of microservices architectures, event-driven systems and API design.
Proficient in SQL and NoSQL database systems.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a bonus.
Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and testing frameworks is an advantage.
Skills in Python is a plus.
