Keller Executive Search is seeking a dynamic Head of Compliance to lead the compliance function for a pioneering fintech company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of compliance programs that ensure adherence to regulatory requirements within the fintech space. Reporting directly to the executive management team, this role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the financial technology landscape and applicable laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate will work closely with various stakeholders, including product, operations, and legal teams, to ensure compliance is integrated into all aspects of the business. This position presents a unique opportunity to shape the compliance culture of a rapidly growing organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The key responsibilities of the Head of Compliance include but are not limited to:
Developing and maintaining a robust compliance framework that reflects applicable regulatory standards;
Overseeing compliance training programs to ensure that all staff are aware of and adhere to compliance obligations;
Conducting regular audits and assessments to identify compliance risks and ensure regulatory compliance;
Advising on the regulatory impact of new products and services, and ensuring timely filing and reporting to the relevant authorities;
Serving as the primary point of contact with regulators and responding to inquiries and requests;
Staying current on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting fintech and adjusting compliance programs as necessary;
Providing compliance reports and updates to senior management and the board.
