Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring a qualified, patient-care-focused Hostess / Tray Line Runner to work for a Hospital Facility  in College Station, TX.

The Tray Line Runner is responsible for assisting in the set-up and serving of food from counters and steamtables.

Job Responsibilities :

• Delivers trays to patients, picks up soiled trays, assists patients in opening juices and snacks, and assists patients in filling out menus.
• Organizes their meals and sets up and breaks down tray lines, washes dishes as needed.
• Delivering meal carts to patient units, aiding in the meal set-up at the bedside, 
• Discarding of soiled trays
• Taking inventory of nourishment area, 
• Stocking the nourishment area and accurately operating technical equipment. 
• Also responsible for sanitation activities, including dishware, equipment cleaning, and janitorial tasks
• In addition, they will be responsible for cashiering in the cafeteria

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Required
• 2+ years of Tray Line Runner and Hostess experience 
• Food Handler Certification 
• Prior customer service experience in the hospitality industry
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Positive attitude and interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills and phone etiquette

Job Details:

• Shifts Vary 
• Must be flexible.
• $15/hr + benefits
• 8- hours OR 12-hour shifts
• Full benefits – healthcare, dental, vision, 401k program.
• Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
