Job Description

Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring a qualified, patient-care-focused Hostess / Tray Line Runner to work for a Hospital Facility in College Station, TX.

The Tray Line Runner is responsible for assisting in the set-up and serving of food from counters and steamtables.

Job Responsibilities :

Delivers trays to patients, picks up soiled trays, assists patients in opening juices and snacks, and assists patients in filling out menus.
Organizes their meals and sets up and breaks down tray lines, washes dishes as needed.
Delivering meal carts to patient units, aiding in the meal set-up at the bedside,
Discarding of soiled trays
Taking inventory of nourishment area,
Stocking the nourishment area and accurately operating technical equipment.
Also responsible for sanitation activities, including dishware, equipment cleaning, and janitorial tasks
In addition, they will be responsible for cashiering in the cafeteria

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Required
2+ years of Tray Line Runner and Hostess experience
Food Handler Certification
Prior customer service experience in the hospitality industry
Ability to stand for long periods
Positive attitude and interpersonal skills
Good communication skills and phone etiquette

Job Details:

Shifts Vary
Must be flexible.
$15/hr + benefits
8- hours OR 12-hour shifts
Full benefits – healthcare, dental, vision, 401k program.
Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
